Walkthrough

First visit

When you arrive at the West Arena, first climb the stairs on the left side and cut the rope. Then a large number of shadows will appear, and you must defeat them all. After defeating them, go to the entrance to the Idol Stairs at the bottom of the stairs on the left side.

Second visit

This time cut the rope at the stairs on the right side to pass through the waterway, pass through the entrance where the barrigade in the Idol Stairs was, cross the bridge, and proceed to the stone statues at the end of the platforms that appear by magic.

Trivia

• Originally, it was planned that a cutscene with the Queen would happen in this location, in the area with the platforms that magically appear. Both of Ico's horns would've been broken in this deleted cutscene, but it was scrapped in order to reduce the game's exposition.
