Walkthrough

PAL

After arriving to a large room with Yorda, climb the railing and jump down with Ico. After climbing the chain in the hall and jumping to the upper level of the room, push the box next to it and drop it into the hall. Next, when you pull the lever close to it, the door blocking the way for Yorda opens, but shadows also appear at the same time. Go down and fight off the shadows immediately and hurry to Yorda.

When all the shadows have been driven away, rest on the sofa for a while. To leave this large room with Yorda, first use the chain to go to the upper level of the room using only Ico, where the lever was. If you call Yorda right next to the box that you dropped, she will use the box as a platform, and you will be able to pull her up.

NTSC-U

After arriving to a large room with Yorda, climb the railing and jump down with Ico. On the back of the room, pull the lever to open the door for Yorda so she can join you. After climbing the chain in the hall and jumping to the upper level of the room, push the box next to it and drop it into the hall. Next, call Yorda right next to the box that you dropped, so she'll use it as a platform. When she gets near it though, shadows will appear, so pull her up quickly before they can get her.

Version Differences

This stage has some differences between the earlier US release and the latter PAL (European) version. They are listed below:

The switch to open the door for Yorda was moved, and the save sofa that was located on the Trolley 2 roof was moved to its spot.

The new location of the switch; a previously vacant spot.

Trivia

• This area's stage is shared with Trolley 2 and Crane.
• The Shadows Imomushi and Ushi are set to spawn in this stage, as part of the group of enemies that appear as a result of the Spiders' fusion. However, they cannot appear as there aren't five Spiders for the fusion to happen.
