Sunbeams is a location in ICO.
Walkthrough[]
In the narrow space surrounded by walls, the only way to proceed is to climb the chain by yourself. As you climb the chain, shadows will appear, so hurry down the chain to save Yorda. The black shadows appear two at a time at the bottom of the chain, so it should not take too much time to save her once you are down there. After fighting off the shadows, climb up the chain again. Yorda cannot climb the chain, so for now, go on alone.
One of the grates lined up on the ground is open, so first go down into the channel from there. After going through the narrow channel, you will find switches on the left and right sides. Step on the right switch here and call Yorda on the spot. When Yorda comes to the channel, let her step on the left switch, and only Ico should leave the channel. When you climb out of it, call Yorda from the open grate (where Ico went down) and pull her up outside. Now you can take her to the stone statues.
