Ico is rescued by Yorda and washes up on the shore, and as you go deep down the endless sandy beach...

Trivia[]

In the PAL release of the game, in a second playthrough, the player can find a bunch of watermelons near the mountainside. If one is brought over to Yorda, a special cutscene of them eating the watermelon together will play.
Many fans of Shadow of the Colossus over the years claimed that this beach is the same one as the beach in that game, so much so that BluePoint added an easter egg in the form of a watermelon at the end of it. However, they are most likely not the same, as they're not similar in the slighest.^[1]
