    Much appreciated!

That is a very cool project! I was aware of coders diging into the original PS2 release, but I did not know that there are current attempts at adding the cut colossi. Kudos!

For adding information to the Unused Colossi (UC) pages, start with just adding the purpose/use of the discovered code by explaining 1) where it is from and 2) what is does. For example, you could add a new header titled "PSU Preview code", and a standardized table of contents for all UC pages would thus be:

      • Apperance
      • Strategy
      • Rumors
      • PSU code
      • Trivia
      • Gallery

Of course, not every UC page would contain all of these headers, but if they did, that's the order they should be in. I am not recommending that we include the lines of code because they are still copyrighted. That said, for every "PSU code" section you add to a UC page, make a citation to the link of your project, that way people can see where the claimed code descriptions are coming from. So that answers your second question as well.

If your PC game is eventually released, we can consider making a full page in the Wiki about your project. But for now, let's just include the PSU code headers. That way it does not look like adversiting.

Sounds good to me. I'll get to work soonish adding all the stuff needed. As for the game, it does have several demos already released.

      Thanks for the help!

  • Fandom strongly recommends that the pages in Category:Browse be moved to Category:Team Ico Wiki. In the past, Browse was standard, but more recent research has revealed non-descriptive words for top-level category names are really bad for SEO, and the sitename should be used instead.

    • Hello,

Thank you for letting me know. Today I attempted to rename the category with no success, so I posted my question at Community Central in this forum post. From reading existing forum questions, it is my understanding that it is not possible to simply rename a category, hence the lack of a "rename this" feature as given when editing pages. I will attempt to rename the category once I have recieved an answer and have the time to do so.

Thanks again, HappyIphisAria (talk) 01:19, July 13, 2020 (UTC)

    • You can't rename category pages like other pages, you have to create the new category and manually move the contents over. I can do this for you if you want.

    • Ok, that makes sense. And yes please, I will take you up on your offer! I appreciate your willingness to help.

  • I noticed you semi-protected a very large number of pages. I wouldn't recommend doing this. The wiki already has "Require all contributors to log in" enabled in Special:WikiFeatures, making the logged-in aspect of semi-protection redundant. Instead, what semi-protection is doing, is requiring them to also have made 10 edits, which is difficult to do with the wiki locked down.

    • Thank you for letting me know the difference! I will pull down the semi-protection as soon as possible. Thanks again, HappyIphisAria (talk) 02:34, July 6, 2020 (UTC)

    • As of now, all of the pages under "ICO" and "The Last Guardian" on the Wiki's Database page are now unprotected.

I have finished through the 'A' and 'B' sections of the "Shadow of the Colossus" list. I will finish unprotecting the remaining pages soon.

    • All pages that I had protected (i.e all listed under the Database, and then some) are now for all users to edit, including the database page itself. If there are still other pages that need unprotecting, I am willing to change those too. HappyIphisAria (talk) 16:51, July 6, 2020 (UTC)

    • You can see a list of all protected pages at Special:ProtectedPages. Since you adopted the wiki, it is up to you now which pages need protecting or not.
