Lakeside is the developer name given to the arena of the 7th colossus.
Description[]
A huge lake surrounded by mountains. It is dark and the water is not very clear. There are few man-made structures, including a spiral tower that resembles a serpent standing in the center. Several thin towers are also seen surrounding the entire arena.
Location[]
The arena is located northwest of the Forbidden Lands next to Dried Marsh, at quadrant D1.
Trivia[]
- This arena shares its name with the theme Lakeside, which also plays when first finding it.
- A bridge very similar in shape to the one at the entrance of the arena is found in the Beta Dam.
- There exists an inaccessible pathway on the other side of the arena. It leads nowhere and has no collision.
- A climbable thin tower leading to a broken piece of the bridge can be found on the west side of the arena. There's no point to climb to the top besides being a good vantage point to study the colossus.
- The various pillars throughout the Lakeside can also be found in Stone Arch Gorge and near the entrance to the Autumn Forest. The pillars are also similar to the ones from the entrance of the unused arena named Sluice.
- In the E3 Demo, the cutscene for this arena that can only be accessed with the debug menu or by modifying the code. The theme named "Sanctuary" (also known by its file name "cave") plays.
