The Crane is a location in ICO.

Walkthrough

First, grab onto the pipe on the wall with only Ico and proceed to the crane operating room at the far right. Once inside, pull the lever to move the container, and use the pipe to return to Yorda's location. Next, jump on top of the container to guide Yorda and place her on top of it.

Return to the crane operating room and pull the lever again, and this time the container will descend with Yorda. Then climp up to the ceiling from the back right corner of the crane operating room and follow the chain of the crane down to Yorda. Finally, you should jump from the container to the circular platform and guide Yorda.

Trivia

• There is actually a way to connect the path from the Stairs to the Crane with only Ico, without Yorda: do not use the lever in the big room at Trolley 1, leave the room without Yorda, and go all the way through the route from Trolley 2 to the Crane with Ico alone. This will save a lot of time. Usually, after some time away from Yorda, a shadow will try to take her away, but you can keep her waiting in the big room of Trolley 1.
• This area's stage is shared with Trolley 1 and Trolley 2.
• A piece of the wall and path next to Trolley 2's save sofa were briefly used by Mitsuhiro Shimooki (the designer of this part of the stage) on Shadow of the Colossus. That part of the wall was stretched and quickly modified into what is known by the community as the "Dam". It was never finished, and the area was left in the void.
