Bats

Bats are small, dark creatures that fly about erratically in Shadow of the Colossus. They congregate in huge groups at the entrances of caves. Though difficult to hit, they can be killed with arrows. Collections of bats are only found in both entrances of the 10th colossus' cave. They do no harm to Agro or Wander, but instead simply fly nearby/around them until they move on.

Bats can also be found hiding in the darker parts of ruins in The Last Guardian.

Trivia[]

Bats were going to be present in the game ICO as ambient animals, but weren't added at the end due to lack of time.
